Day 2
Your Plan
Islamabad to Gilgit. Early morning flight to Gilgit (approx. 1 hour). Transfer to hotel in Gilgit. Explore Gilgit town and visit local markets. Overnight stay in Gilgit.
Day 3
Gilgit to Yasin Valley. Drive from Gilgit to Yasin Valley (approx. 5-6 hours). Scenic drive through lush green valleys and along the Gilgit River. Arrive in Yasin and check into guesthouse. Overnight stay in Yasin Valley.
Day 4
Yasin Valley to Darkot Village. Drive from Yasin Valley to Darkot Village (approx. 2-3 hours). Begin trek preparations. Short hike around Darkot Village to acclimatize. Overnight camping in Darkot Village.
Day 5
Trek from Darkot Village to Base Camp. Start trek from Darkot Village to Base Camp (approx. 5-6 hours). Trek through alpine meadows and rugged terrain. Set up camp at Base Camp. Overnight camping at Base Camp.
Day 6
Base Camp to Darkot Pass and Down to Chitral Side Camp. Early morning departure to cross Darkot Pass (approx. 8-9 hours). Ascend to the pass (approx. 4,700 meters). Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Descend to Chitral side camp. Overnight camping.
Day 7
Trek to Ishkoman Valley. Continue trek down to Ishkoman Valley (approx. 6-7 hours). Trek through scenic landscapes with opportunities to spot wildlife. Arrive at Ishkoman Valley and set up camp. Overnight camping in Ishkoman Valley.
Day 8
Ishkoman Valley to Chatorkhand. Trek from Ishkoman Valley to Chatorkhand (approx. 5-6 hours). Walk through beautiful landscapes and interact with local communities. Arrive at Chatorkhand and transfer to guesthouse. Overnight stay in Chatorkhand.
Day 9
Drive from Chatorkhand to Gilgit. Transfer to hotel in Gilgit. Free time to explore Gilgit or rest. Overnight stay in Gilgit.
Day 10
Morning flight from Gilgit to Islamabad. Transfer to hotel in Islamabad. Farewell dinner and cultural show. Overnight stay in Islamabad.
