Trekkers will traverse through lush green valleys, crystal-clear rivers, and dense pine forests, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Diran and Spantik. The route starts from Minapin and passes through remote villages where trekkers can engage with the warm and hospitable local Hunza people, gaining insights into their traditional lifestyle and culture. The area is rich in flora and fauna, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as ibex, snow leopards, and various bird species.

 

 

Typically, the trek takes around 4-5 days, depending on the pace and weather conditions, moderately challenging, suitable for trekkers with a reasonable level of fitness and some prior trekking experience. The optimal time for the trek is from May to October, when the weather is relatively stable and the trails are accessible.

Proper trekking gear including sturdy boots, warm clothing, and sleeping bags are essential.

 

We ensure all necessary permits and provide local guides and porters for your safety and to enhance the trekking experience.

Itineraries

Day 1

: Arrival at Islamabad International Airport. Check in hotel. Briefing session about the trek. Explore Islamabad, visiting landmarks like Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument and dinner at Margalla Hill top.

Day 2

Morning flight to Gilgit. Check in hotel. Sightseeing optional. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3

Drive to Minapin village. Trek from Minapin to Hapakun (5.8 km, 5-6 hours, Altitude 2814m). overnight stay in camping.

Day 4

Apakun to Rakaposhi Base Camp (Altitude 3661m) A steeper climb leading to the spectacular base camp.

Day 5

Exploration Day. Enjoy the majestic views of Rakaposhi and neighboring peaks
