The trek boasts panoramic views of some of the world's highest peaks, including Rakaposhi, Ultar Sar, and Diran. Trekkers will traverse lush meadows, serene alpine pastures, and vibrant wildflower fields, with the majestic Karakoram and Hindu Kush ranges as a constant backdrop.

The journey starts from the traditional villages of Passu and Borith, where trekkers can immerse themselves in the local Hunza culture. The hospitable Wakhi and Burusho communities offer a glimpse into their rich heritage, traditional lifestyle, and local cuisine.

The Patundas Trek is suitable for experienced trekkers who are looking for a physically demanding yet immensely rewarding adventure. The trail includes steep ascents, narrow ridges, and high-altitude passes, reaching elevations of up to 4,200 meters (13,800 feet). Trekkers will encounter the mesmerizing Passu Cones, glacial streams, and the serene Borith Lake. The trek also provides an opportunity to witness diverse flora and fauna unique to the region's high-altitude environment.

Unlike more popular treks in the region, the Patundas Trek offers a sense of solitude and tranquility, allowing adventurers to connect deeply with nature and enjoy the pristine beauty of the Hunza Valley without the crowds.

Best Time to Trek: The ideal months for the Patundas Trek are from June to September when the weather is favorable, and the trails are accessible.

We ensure all necessary permits and provide local guides and porters for your safety and to enhance the trekking experience. Due to the high altitude and challenging terrain, trekkers should be well-prepared with proper gear, physical fitness, and acclimatization plans.
